Hello, I think that it is time to resurrect AgingwithDan. As the old saying goes, we’re not getting any younger, so no time like the present to start back up.
We all know that the population is aging rapidly. It seems that there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t hear someone talking about retiring. While most of us would like to kick back and relax when we retire it seems that many more of us are going to postpone retiring as long as we can. Some because they prefer to stay busy and connected, others because they are living longer and want to continue to save for the future. Then there is another group that needs to work because they haven’t saved and social security just isn’t enough. As for me, I am looking forward to the adventures and possibilities that come with retirement. I need to stay busy so a part time retirement would suit me just fine.
